During the third and last reporting period ARTIST dissemination team focused on promoting the ARTIST open source package. Two releases of this package were issued by the ARTIST consortium and were disseminated accordingly via all ARTIST dissemination channels and promotional material. ARTIST web site was the leading spear of this effort and sustainable effort was given to be continuously updated/revised so us to attract particularly developers and other stakeholders. As it was specifically mentioned in ARTIST open source strategy, defined early in Year 3, one of the basic principles to follow in order to attract end users is to have a specific communication channel not only active but complete (include all the information needed to install and run the package) and continuously updated.

In parallel, ARTIST consortium not only participated in several conferences, events promoting the OS package, but it organized hands on sessions and tutorials so as to educate developers and advertise package’s advantages. ARTIST's major training workshop at the 9th Symposium and Summer School On Service-Oriented Computing (SummerSOC), which was held at the Aldemar conference center at Hersonissos, Crete, Greece, on July 2015 is an indicative example. The participation in all these activities and the interest expressed by the participants was encouraging for ARTIST consortium to keep the package alive (support and maintenance) even after the end of the project.

Furthermore, ARTIST OS package partly or as a whole contributed to several popular OS communities, the UML-Profile-Store / JUMP tool has been made available as a project under EclipseLabs while the Modelling Discovery Toolbox, the Technical Feasibility Analysis and the Benchmarking Test Suite have been delivered to the Open Cloud Directory1 to name a few. Even though all open source communities engaged are popular to their domain, the two most highlighted ones that acknowledged ARTIST OS were OW22 and Eclipse MoDisco3.

OS package acceptance from open source communities identified an opportunity even beyond the end of the project that ARTIST consortium decided to further exploit. Thus, “ARTIST Club” was born.
